mellow The Oscar nominations came out a couple of days ago, with few surprises. I'm glad to see "Crash" got nominated for Best Picture, it was probably the best movie I saw all year (more by default than anything else, this year was pretty weak). I hope Reese Witherspoon wins for Best Actress, as she was frickin' amazing in "Walk the Line", and I hope Phillip Seymour Hoffman wins too. I actually don't think "Capote" was close to his best work, but he deserves it for just being awesome.
On a somewhat Oscar-related note, this is just effing hilarious. All I can say is, I knew it all along!
Oh, and the new Secret Machines album leaked as well. Hooray!
